Paladin des Ifs has been one of the mst succesful jumpers in Europe in the early nineties, winner of the Grand Prix and the Nations Cup in Dinard, 2nd in the Nation's Cup in Hickstead, winner in the Nations Cup and 2nd in the GP in Luxembourg, winner Nations Cup in Rotterdam. Paladin des Ifs has been awarded as Horse of the Year in France in 1992! His mother Quanagra, produced the private stallion Cabdula du Tillard and Viking du Tillard who was very successful at the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta with Herve Godignon. The sire of Quanagra is Galoubet A, sire of more then 30 national and international stallions. Grandmother Tanagra is the mother of Jalisco B sire of Quidam de Revel, Paillion Rouge , Quito de Baussy and Rochet M. Tanagra is also the dam of Escurial, Geisha (mother of Ephebe for Ever) and Danoso.
Baladin du Tillard was purchased at the age of 4 by San Patrignano Stable and joined Franke Sloothaak team jumping in national competition till the age of 9. Later, under the saddle of Juan Carlos Garcia he competed in the Italian Stallion Championship (1.40) where he placed 2nd.
